¿Brett's Big Question?

What is love defined as today, and is love limited to only certain people?

This is a aquestion that has been brought up in many political debates lately and, although I am the least political person that anyone will ever meet, it has made me wonder and formulate my own thoughts on the question. Love is something that has always been hard or even impossible to define and I am not hoping to define it, but to bring up a new side of the word. I believe that love is undefinable but that once someone is in love they know what it feels like.

Oedipus shows how love can be learned or adapted to. Oedipus was raised by two people that were not even his parents but he loved them as parents. Also, not even knowing that it was his mother, he marries Jocasta because he loved her without really knowing why. He felt a connection to her but did not know that she was his mother. That connection that he felt was love and that is what I am planning on writing about.
